because I thought I'd forget about tomorrow.
What they tell you in the tabloids about love
it's wrong.
I am not shy but I am afraid.
I am not in touching distance
but I am here.
I am uncaring
for you are not beside me.
I did not fight
the future conflicts.
I did not command you
to be with me.
I did not give you
my inner thoughts.
I did not compromise
my desire in light of you.
I did not respect you
that fateful time.
I did not convince my Dad
and his wife
that you're the one.
The news is run for them.
